In the tradition of important public buildings this new library was designed as a community gathering place. A center clock tower rises about the structure and allows natural light to filter through the entire structure. The curves south façade allows for spectacular view of Pikes Peak from nearly every public space within the library. A lower walk-out level is devoted to community meeting space and afterschool gathering rooms.
